Staff knowledgeable and friendly, stock good, ambience pleasant. I could spend hours here.

Books, magazines and video games ( to buy) aplenty here. Nice and quiet so you can enjoy reading or previewing books. Starbucks right inside a bonus. Nice friendly staff will look up any book for you. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you. Nice staff at checkout too.

Wide selection of books, but when compared to the numerous places online to buy books (including directly from their own website for cheaper than in-store) there really isn't a need to purchase books in the store unless you need it right then. Aisle ways feel crammed with the kiosks filled with toys and games.

Went here to buy a book. Cashier suggested that I purchase a $25 membership card. She told me that it would apply immediately and it would eventually pay for itself in the form of coupons I would be receiving. Later, I come to find out that the coupons they send are not for books but for items I do not purchase there (lattes, CD's, and other non book items). I tried to get a refund on the membership, but I was told that since it was applied to the one book I was purchasing (10% off) I was ineligible for a refund. They apply the card immediately when they sell it to you so you can't get a refund! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and Barnes and Noble simply ignored them! Of course, I never got my money back. Also, I don't recall the cashier telling me that the membership actually expires in one year and I definitely don't recall giving them permission to enroll me in automatic annual payments. So I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to cancel that as well. Never again!

A bit of a challenge to find what I wanted, but it was there. I'm a member, so I got discounted prices for everything I purchased. It's not The Little Professor, but it fills the bill, and I can find my favorite authors, sometimes on sale. Easy parking.
